Who are we?
Sureyya Mahmutoglu is born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She received her law degree (L.L.B.) at Istanbul University School of Law in 1999. She moved to the United States in 1999 and graduated from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 2001 where she received her L.L.M degree in Intellectual Property Law.
Following graduation from Franklin Pierce Law Center, she worked at one of the large law firms in Portland, Maine as an associate attorney focusing on intellectual property law. Prior to starting her own business as a grant consultant, Sureyya worked at Tyler Technologies Inc. as a contract specialist where she negotiated and drafted software licensing, maintenance and professional services contracts, and reviewed request for proposals for compliance.
